A couple of weekends ago Kari and Kyle invited us all to their cabin in Overgard to play. What a wonderful idea especially since Dave had the weekend off which usually only happens once a month. So we packed up the kids and headed out. We all had a great time. The weather was wonderful and we even were able to have some smores in our make shift "campfire" aka broken grill w/ a log inside that is covered. Dave was soooooo looking forward to making smores that he wasn't going to take no for an answer when we found out that there are no open fires at all allowed in the neighborhood. So he jimmy rigged another idea.
We stayed up late playing cards and the kids played outside for hours. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend. Too bad the boys spent a lot of the time replacing the water heater that had ruined wood floors, I think we could've really gone on some crazy pine cone finding adventure.
The way home was another story. We got stuck in a accident coming down the mountain that stopped traffic completely on our side for 45 min and then as soon as we finally got going Addyson decided to get sick in the car. I guess I can only thank myself for that one. She gets the car sick gene from me. I can't sit in the back on a road trip to save my life.
All in all we had fun and can't wait to go back and kick Kari and Kyle's butts in Taboo and Kyle can kill us on Hearts!!!
