What goes hand in hand with Birthdays and Christmas at our house you ask??..... SICK KIDS that's what.
We had a big party planned for the weekend after Addyson's actual Birthday with her friends. The night before the party we leave to go to the airport to pick up my mom and Addyson informs me she isn't feeling good and wants to stay home. So to sum it all up Addyson gets sick in the car on the way home only minutes after picking up my mom. YUK everywhere, while we are driving on the freeway...nothing I can do for the poor girl, but floor it home. Talk about a welcome present for my mom.
I was so disappointed because I had a big cupcake and apron making party planned for Addy. So we canceled the party from Saturday and rescheduled it to Monday, which ended up working out fine since she just had a 24 hour bug. All the party guests were still going to be able to come...YEAH. My niece Hailey was also in town for the big festivities and to see her dad.

The Birthday theme was cupcakes and candy and each girl got to make their own personalized apron....really Dave's mom and my mom ended up doing all the work since everything needed to be ironed onto the aprons. The girls just mostly "designed" what they wanted to be on them.
The party turned out wonderful and Addyson felt really special. I was beginning to worry that we would have a replay of her last BIG party that we invited lots of friends to when she was 6. We had rented out a big Bounce place and Addyson was so sick the day of the party she just sat the entire party. Last years party was canceled once again because the flu decide to stop by.

It turned out so cute! I may have to steal a few ideas for Ella's Birthday. You can give Lettie a run for her money! Addy looks really happy. How cute is Hailey!
