Last weekend we went to Dave's family BBQ at the Fire Academy. Last week was the half way point of their 14 weeks academy. We all had a blast. The kids were in awe when they saw all the cool fire trucks, burn rooms and all the guys decked out in their gear.
The kids even got to try and put out their own mini car fire. Hadley passed on that event and decided she would run around like a crazy woman. She ran into the 5 story building where they do their mock fires and took off. That place is like a maze and is super dark. They had the doors open so the families could take a tour. Needless to say she was her own little tour guide in there. Pretty scary!!!!
The BBQ was a great chance to see where Dave has been spending the majority of his time the last 7 weeks. We are so proud of him and all the hard work he is putting into this. We can't wait until it's official and he graduates!!!!

no way! he is working for gilbert fire now? what happened with the police? please tell me, infact, we need to chat because scott is in the academy for police and i am having a hard time with it. no holding back, i want all the details! good to hear from you. still with dr davis? cute family.
