The cookies and carrots were out for Santa and his reindeer.
The kids put on their somewhat matching jammies and posed for a few pictures. It was like pulling teeth trying to get Davin into these pajamas he really dislikes wearing them.
A little last minute fluffing of the tree and it's off to bed to have sweet dreams and visions of sugar plums dancing.
The kids went to bed pretty easy until they heard Uncle Kyle pull into the driveway to "drop off mommies purse that she had left at their house"-WINK -WINK. Addyson immediately was peaking out the window to see what was going on and started to investigate why he was at our house so late..... Kids these days are too smart.
The first thing the kids did when they woke up was to see if Santa and his reindeer had eaten their treats. It took them a few minutes to realize that there was a room full of presents in the next room. Addyson asked for a pair of roller blades and Davin had asked for a watch and Hadley didn't have a request. I don't think she understoods all that jazz. I loved the simple wishes from the kids this year. I only hope that they can stay that way.
