Children' s Museum
Last Friday the kids and I along with Grammy, Aunt Kari and Landon, decided to go check out the new Children's museum in Downtown Phoenix. It just recently opened and is still kind of under construction, but we had to find something for the kids to do until school starts!! The Museum is housed in the old Monroe School building and it is really cool. The kids favorites were the mini grocery store, pizzeria, arts and crafts room and race track, complete w/ mini Hot Rod. Davin's favorite part was the grocery cashier. He just loves to wait until somebody needs their groceries rang up. I hope this doesn't become a permanent career choice!!

There we also cool places to hang out and have a snack or read books, or just run around and play. Addyson found a pair of basketball shoes that must've been donated by the Phoenix Suns. They were huge. The funny thing is she might not be far off from needing a pair of her own that are the same size. We just got done buying school shoes and she currently is wearing a size 6 in women!!! Yikes!!! This girl is only 7!!

We can't wait to go back and see what else they have added. They are supposed to add a 3 story play structure in the upcoming months..... We are glad we found a new cool place to hang out while it is still so hot outside.
